A couple of weeks ago we enjoyed a spot of retail therapy, browsing the shops of Corbridge. On the way to Newcastle this is a nice little stop off, or easily a day out in itself. If you like individually owned boutiques and cafes, quaint coffee shops and a unique selection of gifts and treasure troves, Corbridge is for you. With a new luxury bakery and several other eateries lining the streets, you won't be short of places to stop for refreshments and treats either. Why not try a delicious pastry from Grants artisan bakery? We also highly reccommned a visit to RE for quirky interior design ideas, and Shorts of Corbridge for high quality gentleman's clothing. So how about it? Time to make a start on the Christmas shopping - there's shops with unique and special gifts for everyone.
Corbride Roman Town is next on our list for a visit. Perhaps you'd like to tie it in with your shopping trip and let us know what you think!
